True Pros

One of our documentaries, Pollution in Sligo Creek, won an award today in our district’s environmental film festival. The students, some of their parents, and I went to watch their film on the big screen in the downtown AFI movie theater. To top it off, they won 3rd place for best documentary. First and second place winners were high school students.
After each film was shown the filmmakers took questions from the audience. They were a little nervous beforehand about answering questions but they handled it like true pros.
